8 April, 2021 Mama Meetup with Jane Millar – “Baby Learn to Swim as a Life Skill”
R135.008 April, 2021 Mama Meetup with Jane Millar – “Baby Learn to Swim as a Life Skill”
R135.00“I have been teaching babies to swim for the past 25 years. It is a passion of mine. Here in South Africa we are surrounded by water and therefore need to keep our little ones safe. The drowning statistics are frightening. I also train teachers, run a Nanny Course where I teach them safety in and around the pool as well as teaching them to swim and float and I have an online course for parents to be and parents of babies 0 – 6 months. I believe that starting baby to swim at an early age you are giving them a life saving skill.” – Jane Millar – Aquababes.

R135.001 April, 2021 Mama Meetup with Sarah Page – “Post Natal Depression”
R135.00“Hi, I am Sarah. I am a married mom of two busy boys. I am a teacher by profession but am currently at home with my boys, and I enjoy reading and scrapbooking photos of my beautiful family. I have struggled through Post Natal Depression twice and feel that this subject should be spoken about more openly with new mom’s and mom’s to be. It can be a long road and you need to know that you are not alone!”

25 March, 2021 Mama Meetup with Bev & Neda – “Circle of Security”
R135.0025 March, 2021 Mama Meetup with Bev & Neda – “Circle of Security”
R135.00Neda O’ Donovan & Bev Molver are passionate about seeing families thrive and helping parents strengthen their connection with their children, and with themselves. For them personally, Circle of Security – an international attachment-based parenting course – continues to bring so much awareness and healing to their own emotional and psychological wounds enabling them to better respond to the needs of their growing children. Through COSP, Neda and Bev take caregivers on a journey of understanding about attachment needs, how we perceive those needs and why we struggle to meet them because of our own past experiences. In cultivating a safe space where reflection and awareness can take place, parents learn how to access that part of themselves that is willing to face discomfort in order to bring about connection. They are both firm believers in ‘good enough’ parenting and in how making sense of our own childhood helps predict how our children become attached to us.

18 March, 2021 Mama Meetup with Mandy – “Car Seat Safety”
R135.0018 March, 2021 Mama Meetup with Mandy – “Car Seat Safety”
R135.00“Protection from harm is one of our children’s most integral human rights, and instinct for most of us. Car passenger deaths is one of the leading causes of loss of South African children. The only thing that can keep your child safe from crash forces is a car seat. And so, it’s our responsibility to ensure they are secure in the right car seat for their age, weight and height.
At #CarseatFullstop I often hear there is too much information available… Yet nothing to make you feel confident in the seat you choose. I’m here to empower you with basics that will help you keep your child as safe as possible. Let’s start with ensuring your little one is in the right car seat…” – Mandy-Lee Miller, #CarseatFullstop
